They were taken to the State Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
Hagerstown, Md (KM) Hagerstown Police are investigating an incident where human remains were found.
On Wednesday afternoon, an individual walking near a wooded area at Omega Drive and Kiwanis Park saw what that person thought were human remains. Officers were dispatched to the area at around 1:40 PM, and confirmed it was human remains.
The body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore for an autopsy.
The body had no apparent signs of trauma, according to police.
