County office buildings were closed on Monday.
Annapolis, Md (KM) Local government offices in Anne Arundel County were forced to close on Monday following a cyber attack. Employees had to work from home on that day.
County officials says it’s unknown where this attack came from, and finding that out could take days or weeks. They say precautions are being taken as a result of this attack, including limiting access to the internet, and some systems.
Frederick Health Hospital suffered from a ransomware attack last month which affected its electronic medical records. The hospital says that system was restored to normal operations last week.
