Frederick Police Arrest Suspect In Road Rage Incident

He was apprehended in Brunswick.

Frederick, Md (KM) A suspect has been arrested in connection with a road rage incident in Frederick earlier this week. . Police say David Wayne Styles. Jr., is charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault, use of a firearm in a felony or violent crime, assault with a weapon or gun  magazine, having a loaded handgun in a vehicle and having a handgun on his person.

He is currently being held without bond.

Police say on Monday March 3rd at around 8:44 AM, an officer responded to West Patrick Street and Old Camp Road for a road rage incident. The victim told police a driver in another vehicle pointed a handgun at them before driving away.

The  Frederick Police Department’s A Squad developed Styles as a suspect. They were able to locate him in Brunswick with the assistance of Brunswick Police. .

He was found in his vehicle and was taken into custody.

Police say a Sig  Sauer P365 handgun was recovered from Styles’ vehicle. Officers say Styles did not have a valid handgun carry permit.
