Thurmont, Md (KM) The Bureau of Alcohol,Tobacco, FIrearms and Explosives, and the Thurmont Police Department are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in connection with the pipe bombing of a police vehicle.
Early Wednesday morning, at around 12:30, an explosive device went off on the hood of a Thurmont Police Department SUV. The explosion damaged the front end and the windshield, and sent fragments into the victim’s home which was occupied at the time. There were no injuries.
