Criminal charges are pending.
Frederick, Md (KM) Criminal charges are pending against a man and a woman apprehended Tuesday night in a search and seizure operation in Frederick.
The Sheriff’s Office says Chazmen Everett Cousin-Lee, 25, and Blossom Montana Parks, 20, were taken into custody following the raid on the Extended Stay America hotel at 5240 Westview Drive in Frederick.
Earlier in the day, the Narcotics Investigations Section says it received word from Patrol Operations about possible drug activity at the Extended Stay America. Authorities say they developed evidence that Cousin-Lee and Parks were dealing drugs inside one of the rooms.
At around 8:00 PM, Narcotics detectives with assistance from the Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and investigators from the Maryland State Police Western Maryland Major Traffickers Initiative began their operation at the Extended Stay America. Parks was found in the hotel room, but Cousin-Lee had fled on foot. He was apprehended a short time later by patrol deputies.
Authorities say a 2012 Porsche Panamerca was located inside the parking lot of the hotel, and a drug dog did a sniff of the vehicle. As part of the search and seizure operation, police searched the vehicle, and found a quantity of narcotics and cash.
These items were confiscated as part of the search and seizure operation:
6.6. pounds of marijuana;
1 pound of methamphetamine;
56.2 grams of crack cocaine;
$45,689.00 in cash;
The 2012 Porsche Panamerca 4 valued at $60,000.00;
and packaging material used for distribution of narcotics.
The Sheriff’s Office says Cousin-Lee is wanted in Howard County for violation of a probation warrant and was turned over to authorities there. Parks is wanted in Frederick County on a violation of pre-sentence supervision.
The investigation is continuing.

“The successful operation and the subsequent large seizure of drugs and cash proceeds demonstrates the Sheriff’s Office commitment to respond quickly and effectively to tips and complaints of illegal drug activity. It is and will continue to be an agency priority to stem the trafficking an flow of illegal drugs in and through Frederick,” says Sheriff Chuck Jenkins, in a statement.
