A police canine detected drugs in the suspect’s vehicle.
Frederick, Md (KM) A traffic stop late Thursday night in Frederick led to the arrest of a local man on drug possession charges. Robert Pagliochini, 45, of Frederick, was pulled over by the Police Street Crimes Team in the area of Willowdale Drive and Schaffer Drive for committing a stop sign violation.
Officers say they noticed Pagliochini, who was the driver, was acting nervous and breathing heavily and was unable to produce a driver’s license. A police canine called to the scene did a sniff, indicating the presence of drugs.
Pagliochini was asked to get out of the car. When he did, he attempted to throw away a syringe and kick it under his vehicle. The syringe was retrieved and found to have brown residue and blood, which is consistent with heroin use. . Authorities also found a glass cylinder on Pagliochini’s person with steel wool that’s better known as a crack pipe.
Pagliochini was taken to the Adult Detention Center for processing. He is charged with one count each of possession of crack cocaine and possession of heroin, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
