The incident occurred in June, 2016.
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a rape in June of this year. Bryan Paul Harris, 49, was taken into custody this past weekend, and charged with 1st-degree rape.
The victim called police after she was assaulted with a knife, and told investigators that Harris had strangled her, holding the knife to her throat. She also said that Harris held her down while forcibly raping her.
Detectives say they examined the physical evidence at the scene, and confirmed the victim’s story through numerous interviews.
Police say an arrest warrant was obtained earlier this month, and Harris was located by officers on Saturday.
Authorities Harris’ address is unknown.
