No evidence of a personal relationship between two Ellicott City teens killed in a murder-suicide.
ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (AP) — Police say they’ve found no evidence of a personal relationship between two Ellicott City teens killed in a murder-suicide.
Howard County Police said in a statement Friday that a cellphone record and computer review found no communication between 16-year-old Charlotte Zaremba and 15-year-old Sean Crizer, who lived in the same neighborhood and attended the same school.
Police say they may never know why Crizer entered Zaremba’s home early on New Year’s Day, but he and two other juveniles had been stealing personal items from neighborhood homes.
Police say Suzanne Zaremba heard a scuffle in her daughter’s bedroom and found her struggling with a masked person, who shot them and himself. Charlotte Zaremba died and her mother was treated and released. Crizer, the masked intruder, died days later.
