Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner has scheduled a “Talk of the Town” next week for local residents. It will be held on Thursday, March 2nd at 7:00 PM in the first floor meeting room of Winchester Hall, 12 East Church Street, Frederick.
Gardner says these sessions give citizens a chance to bring up issues that are important to them. “I appreciate all the feedback given to me during my previous outreach sessions with residents around the county,” Gardner said in a statement. “During this town hall type meeting, I invite citizens to come and share with me what’s important to them on any subject, program, problem or issue. I always listen and take to heart what’s important to them.”
She says residents can ask questions, discuss ideas for the future and raise any concerns that they have.
Some of the hot topics include school construction, the budget and fiscal responsibility, ethics reform, creating jobs, and the new Business and Technology Cultivation Center, transportation priorities and quality of life for seniors, according to a statement from the County Executive’s Office.
