He left the scene, but returned, and police nabbed him.
Frederick, Md (KM) An Adamstown man has been charged in connection with a strong arm robbery in Frederick Monday afternoon. Ali Mohamad Salekh, 22, was taken into custody at the scene of the assault, Old Farm Drive and Yellow Spring Road.
Frederick Police responded to the scene for a strong arm robbery at around 3:41 PM on Monday. Officers say the victim had minor contusions to his head. The detective assigned to the case was able to identify Salekh as the suspect, and the determined that the victim was assaulted because he owed money to Salekh. The victim was deprived of his cash.
The two knew each other prior to the robbery, according to police.
Police say Salekh had fled before police arrived, but returned to the scene of the crime and was taken into custody. He’s charged with strong armed robbery, 2nd-degree assault and theft.
