Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police continue to investigate a shooting in the Emerald Farm community Thursday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Arctic Court at around 6:21 AM to investigate reports of shots-fired. They say a male victim was leaving his residence when he was shot by an unknown individual. The victim drove to the 500 block of Logan Street to a relative’s home.
He was treated there by emergency workers and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the victim had a superficial wound to his upper torso.

At this time, authorities say the shooting does not appear to be random.
