It occurred Friday morning on an I-81 ramp in Washington County.
Williamsport, Md (KM) The driver of a tractor trailer suffered minor injuries following a crash in Washington County early Friday morning.
State Police in Hagerstown say troopers and fire and rescue were dispatched to the wreck shortly before 3:00 AM . They say a big rig hauling bananas overturned on the ramp from Route 11 to northbound Interstate 81 at Exit 2 in Williamsport.
The ramp was closed to traffic while crews off loaded the cargo and uprighted the truck. But the Maryland Department of Transportation’s CHART website says that ramp is open..
The State Highway Administration and Washington County Fire Police assisted with traffic control.
State Police are continuing their investigation into this crash.
