One fire fighter was injured.
FREDERICK, Md. (DG) – An early morning fire displaced two adults after their townhouse caught fire in Willowbrook.
Fire fighters responded to the 2000 block of Sumner Drive in Frederick at around 5 a.m. Sunday.
Fire officials say the occupants of the home escaped without injuries, but one firefighter had a medical emergency and was treated at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
It took 30 fire fighters, 10 minutes to put out the flames.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and damage is estimated at $30,000.
The displaced adults are being assisted by family members.
