One fight fighter was injured.
SYKESVILLE, Md. (DG – A firefighter was injured on Saturday morning in Carroll County trying to put out a fire involving several ATVs.
Firefighters were sent to a home in the 5000 block of Stone Mill Court in Sykesville and found three ATVs on fire.
One firefighter was injured after pieces of metal were thrown into his eyes. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.
The fire was put out within 20 minutes and damage is estimated at $70,000.
Authorities say the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
