3 people charged in robbery and assault on Wednesday.
FREDERICK, Md. (KR) Frederick Police have charged three people with robbery and assault on Wednesday. Authorities responded to the scene in the 2100 block of Bristol Drive around 11:45 PM, after a man said he was assaulted in a parking lot by McDonald’s on Yellow Springs Road.
The victim said two men and a woman asked for cigarettes and followed him back to his car when they assaulted him and stole several of his items. The victim went home after the incident, called 911, and was transported to the hospital with significant injuries.
During the investigation, police identified the suspects as 23 year-old, Samantha McClellan, 22 year-old Davonte Thomas, and 21 year-old, Mark Jacobs.
All three were charged with first and second degree assault and robbery and were transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. McClellan, Thomas and Jacobs are waiting to see the District Court Commissioner at this time.
