Frederick Police on Monday saw a car swerving in the 900 block of W. Patrick Street. The vehicle was pulled over and officers say the occupants acted nervous, shaking, and breathing heavily.
A K9 officer responded and conducted a sniff of the vehicle. The sniff resulted in a positive alert of a drugs inside the car.
The vehicle was searched and police found two grams of crack cocaine, a set of digital scales, and 24.5 pills of prescription drugs. The front seat passenger, Latonya Nicole Dykes, told police the drugs belonged to her.
Dykes was charged with possession of drugs and possession with intent to distribute.
