NEW WINDSOR, Md (KR) The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire that happened at a home in Carroll County.
Officials say, on Saturday, just after 3:45 PM, firefighters from New Windsor responded to a fire at a home at 107 Springdale Avenue. Authorities say, the fire started at the one-story home on the rear patio and was discovered by a neighbor.
It took 60 firefighters, 30 minutes to put out the flames. Officials say, the family was able to safely get out of the house without any injuries. Three vehicles were damaged in the fire.
Total estimated loss is 150-thousand dollars. Red Cross is assisting
