School resumes on Mon., Aug. 22nd.
It’s probably the news a lot of kids have been waiting for. The last day of school in Frederick County is Friday, June 17th. Students will be dismissed two hours early that day for a teacher worksession.
The last day for ten-month teachers and staff is Monday, June 20th.
Starting the week of June 19th, Central Office hours will be open from 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off. The only exception is Monday, July 4th, Independence Day, will be a holiday. That week, Central Offices will be open from Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM.
Regular Monday through Friday hours will resume the week of August 15th. Returning teachers will report on Tuesday, August 16.
The first day of classes for students for the 2016-2017 academic year is Monday, August 22nd.
