The 16 year old was hit by a truck while riding his skateboard.
Frederick County, Md. (DG) – A teenager was killed Sunday night in Walkersville after he was hit while riding his skateboard.
Maryland State Police responded to the accident around 9:15 PM on Devilbiss Bridge Road.
The 16-teen-year-old, Jaggar Ezra Lawson, was riding a skateboard west on Devilbiss Bridge Road when he was struck by a 2005 Ford truck, also traveling westbound, near the entrance of Heritage Farm Park.
Lawson was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the truck has been identified as 18-year-old Austin James Shipe.
The accident remains under investigation.
