Two Charged In Multi-State Prostitution Operation

The investigation involved local and federal authorities.

Hagerstown, Md. (KM) Two Hagerstown residents who were allegedly operating an online prostitution business are facing charges. Lauren Elizabeth Jones and Orayl Dal Vonte, Ingram, both 25, have been charged in US District Court in Baltimore with Interstate Transportation for Prostitution, use of interstate facilities to promote an enterprise involving prostitution offenses, and  aiding and abetting.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says it began its investigation in February, 2016 with the help of the Hagerstown Police into the Lovely Business Entertainment Agency . The company promoted itself on line as an escort service, but authorities say it was really a “sex for money”: operation.

During the course of their investigation, detectives learned that the Lovely Business Entertainment Agency was operating in Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Washington D-C. The Sheriff’s Office and Hagerstown Police reached out to the FBI’s Baltimore Field Office for assistance.

Investigators say Jones and Ingram had been operating this illegal business from 2015 to late 2016..
