Officers say a body was found in a vehicle in a field in Germantown.
Germantown, Md (KM) A death investigation in Germantown is underway by the Montgomery County Police and the Office of Fire and Explosives Investigations.
Authorities says fire and rescue personnel were dispatched at 4:22 AM Wednesday to the 13,700 block of Wisteria Drive for a brush fire and found a vehicle in flames .After putting out the fire, fire fighters located a deceased individual. inside the vehicle.
Detectives responded to the scene.
Police are asking anyone who has information on this incident to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070. .
