Westminster, Md (KM) There were no injuries reported from a building fire Thursday morning in Westminster.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office says 20 fire fighters from the Westminster Volunteer Company responded to Appalachian Off Road at 2 East George Street at 11:15 AM for a structure fire, but the flames were out by the time they arrived.
Damage is estimated at $1,500 to the structure, and $5,000 to a vehicle inside. .
Investigators say the fire started in the vehicle and is accidental due to some welding work being done.
