Grand Jury Hands Down Four Indictments

That moves these cases to Circuit Court.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Four indictments were handed down on Friday by the Frederick County Grand Jury.

The panel charged Daniel Mark Littrell, 58, of Frederick with attempted robbery, 2nd-degree assault, and attempted theft of less than $100.

Police say Littrell was arrested on August 20th for attempting to rob the Shell Station on West Patrick Street. Officers say he held his hand under his shirt as if he had a gun. Littrell did not have any weapon, officers say.

Also indicted was Francisco Lopez-Vasquez, 39, of Frederick whose charged with 2nd-degree rape, sexual abuse of a minor, 3rd-degree sex offense and 2nd-degree child abuse. Authorities say Lopez-Vasquez admitted to having sexual relations with a two-year-old. The incident occurred on August 10th, 2018.

The Grand Jury also indicted:

*Angel McDaniel, 22, of Knoxville, for 2nd-degree child abuse and 2nd-degree assault for an incident which occurred between July 28th and 29th, 2018.

* Michael Shumaker, 28, of Knoxville,  for 2nd-degree child abuse and 2nd-degree assault for an incident which occurred between July 28th and 29th, 2018.

The indictments move these cases to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.
