Frederick, Md (KM) The Federal Emergency Management Agency has released a new Flood Insurance Rate Map and a Flood Insurance Study for Frederick County, including the City of Frederick.
City officials say there will be a review period until October 31st for the public to identify changes and corrections to non-technical information, such as corporate limits, and road and stream names for both documents.
There will 90-day period to review technical information in the map and the report. That would include flood elevations, base flood depths, flood zone designations, or regulatory floodways within a community.
