Authorities say the threat originated outside of the US.
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police were dispatched to the Maryland School for the Deaf Tuesday morning at around 8:15 for a suspicious situation.
Authorities say this followed a report of two threats received over social media. Students at the school reached out to the administration which notified police.
The Frederick Police Department’s Twitter page says one building was evacuated. Officers and State Troopers conducted interviews, and the building was searched. Nothing suspicious was found., and police cleared the scene.
No students were injured.
