Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police investigating a rape ended up arresting a suspect for drug offenses.
At around 3:40 AM on Tuesday, Officers responded to the 1300 block of David Lane for a report of a rape which had just occurred. The victim identified the suspect to authorities. They took Christopher Alexander, 37, of Frederick, into custody.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for his home on David Lane, and located various medications and illegal drugs inside.
Alexander is charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (not marijuana), possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (not marijuana) and possession of PCP.
The rape investigation is continuing, and police are asking anyone with surveillance systems in the David Lane area to contact them. They can call the Tip Line at 301-600-TIPS (8477). They can also send an e-mail at [email protected]; or send a text to 240-674-8477.
Police point out that the victim was taken to a local medical facility for treatment, but she had no critical injuries.
