Hagerstown, Md (KM) Hagerstown Police have charged a former public school teacher with “sexting.” Vallie Nichole Lawyer, 26, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania has been served with a criminal summons, charging her with sexual solicitation of a minor and displaying obscene materials to a minor.
Authorities say last month they received word from a former eighth grade student at Western Heights Middle School that a former teacher sent him an a nude photo of herself over Snapchat. Authorities say the incident occurred between June and August of 2018. . The youth told police he did not send any pictures to Lawyer.
The Washington County Public School System says Lawyer is no longer employed as a teacher.
