The checkpoint hopes to educate people on the dangers of driving under the influence.
Hagerstown, MD – Maryland State Police along with local police departments will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint somewhere in the Hagerstown area.
According to official reports, The Hagerstown Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office will be working with Maryland State Police and conducting the checkpoint on Friday, September 6.
The purpose is to create a point of contact with drivers to educate them on the dangers of driving under the influence.
