The road was closed last week to repair a damaged over-height portal.
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick County officials say Roddy Road near the covered bridge reopened on Friday. The road south of the historic span was closed last week after a vehicle struck and damaged the over-height warning portal which is designed to prevent over-sized vehicles from driving on to the historic covered bridge.
Repairs were completed on the portal on Friday, and the road has reopened.
The covered bridge was not damaged.
