Total snow and sleet accumulations of one to two inches with ice accumulations around a tenth of an inch. * WHERE...Portions of central and northern Maryland. * WHEN...From 7 AM to 7 PM EST today. A period of snow is expected for a few hours this morning. A brief lull in precipitation is possible mid to late morning, before precipitation becomes more widespread and changes to sleet and freezing rain after noon. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Due to the cold ground and road temperatures, snow and ice will accumulate on all untreated surfaces. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling.
