Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Fire Marshal’s Office has issued a total ban on outdoor burning. That means all outdoor fires, including recreational fires, are prohibited.
The US Forest Service has classified the forest fire danger in the area as moderate, but windy conditions could make it much worse.. It says even with the recent precipitation, fuels for fires could dry out due to the winds.
