He is a man who was reported missing in February
Smithsburg, Md. (DG) – The body of a man found in a wooded area east of Smithsburg over the weekend has been identified as 71-year-old Stephen Geer.
Maryland State Police report Geer last was seen on February11, 2020.
Geer’s body was found Sunday at around 3:30 PM off of Pleasant Valley Road near power lines.
The body has been sent to the state medical examiner’s office for autopsy. Police are continuing to investigate.
