They’re run by the Community Action Agency and the Salvation Army.
Frederick, Md (KM) An additional food drop will be set up around Frederick. The Community Action Agency says it will be located at the Amber Meadows Park on Amber Drive, and it will begin operations on Tuesday, April 28th.
The other food drops at Taney Village and Catoctin Manor will remain in operation, along with those in collaboration with the Asian American Center of Frederick , and the Spanish Speaking Community of Maryland.
The food drops take place each Tuesday at noon, where senior citizens can receive bags containing a three to five-day supply of food, and other necessities.
The food drops are run by the Frederick Community Action Agency in collaboration with the Salvation Army.
To continue on site and mobile food distribution, the FCAA needs donations of:

Toilet Paper
Pasta
Mac & Cheese
Spaghetti Sauce
Canned Fruit
Canned vegetables
Soup
Single-serve containers of food
Rice
Household Cleaners
Baby Items such as formula, baby food
Feminine Hygiene
Paper Items such as tissues, paper plates, napkins, paper towels
Peanut Butter
Water
Shelf-stable milk
Juice
Granola Bars
Coffee
Non-Refrigerated Fruit cups
A no-contact drop-off is available at 141 East All Saint Street. Monetary donations can be made through the Friends for Neighborhood Progress.. Indicate on your remittance that you want your money to be used for the food bank.
