Montgomery County Police recovered the body Tuesday evening
Montgomery Cpounty, Md. (DG) – A body was found Tuesday evening in the Potomac River near Great Falls.
According to the twitter account of Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson, Pete Piringer, boaters and people on the Virginia side of the river saw the body and notified police.
The body was found in the area of Sandy Landing.
Montgomery County Police are conducting a death investigation into the incident.
