Nathan Brown elected in first vote-by-mail election
Brunswick, Md. (DG) – Brunswick has a new mayor.
On Tuesday 32-year-old Nathan Brown became the town’s new mayor.
This was Brunswick’s first ever vote-by-mail election.
There were 2,077 votes were cast. Brown received 1,647 votes, and his opponent Richard Gardner received 389 votes.
Voters also cast ballots for three city council members. The top three candidates were Christopher Vigliotti, Angel White, and Vaughn Ripley.
The newly elected candidates will be sworn in next week.
