Non-profit organizations are invited to apply.
Frederick, Md (KM) The application process will soon get underway for Frederick County’s Fiscal Year 2022 Community Partnership Grant. The program awards competitive grants to non-profit organizations which serve the needs of county residents. The money can be used for community needs, seniors and housing.
“Our human service non-profits do an amazing job connecting people with the resources they need,”: says County Executive Jan Gardner, in a statement. “The benefits to our community have been clear, especially during the health pandemic this year. Together, the County and our non-profit partners are able to leverage our efforts to provide effective services so we can all flourish and share in Frederick County’s prosperity and high quality of life.”
The grants can pay for operating expenses or one-time purchases. Some examples of how the money was used in the past include roof replacement for a transitional housing shelter, costs associated with a mobile dental clinic and a refrigerator/freezer for a senior center, according to county officials.
Non-profits can begin making application on Thursday, November 12th; the deadline is December tenth at 11:59 PM. Applications are available at https://www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/CPG.
A virtual pre-application meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10th from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. To RSVP go to [email protected].
While participation in this meeting is optional, it’s highly recommended for all agencies so they understand the application requirements and funding priorities.
