Frederick, Md (KM) Food service businesses which have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic can apply for grants.
Frederick County has $2-million to give out to businesses such as restaurants, caterers, food trucks, wineries, distilleries and brewers. The money can be used to pay rent, purchase equipment and services to expand outdoor dining, make improvements to the heating and cooling system, purchase personal protective equipment or sanitation services, and technology to support carryout and delivery.
These businesses must be in good standing with the State of Maryland and Frederick County, and possess a food service license from the Health Department, or a liquor license from the County Liquor Board.
The deadline to apply is Monday, November 23rd at 3:00 PM. To apply go on line to www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/FoodServiceGrants.
