Frederick, MD (KB) Urban Air Adventure Park is celebrating its grand opening this Saturday beginning at 10am.
General Manager, Deb Spalding, said this attraction is appealing to all ages.
“I’ve seen people here enjoying a date night, I’ve seen teenagers hanging out, young twenty / thirty somethings, and then of course, families, and it has just been really eye-opening,” she said.
Urban Air, located at 5830 Ballenger Creek Pike, is more than 40,000 square feet and offers wall-to-wall trampolines, dodgeball courts, obstacle courses, and more.
Spalding said the park is equipped with seven rooms that can be used to host birthday parties or corporate team-building activities.
On Sundays from 10am to 12pm, the park is open exclusively to small children so they can enjoy the trampolines and soft play.
Spalding said the park is taking several health precautions due to COVID-19.
“Also at the door, we check temperatures and do hand sanitizer,” she explained. “And we’re saying to them before they enter that we do require the masks at all times in the facility.”
Spalding also said that court monitors throughout the park are equipped with cleaning supplies to clean the facility throughout the day. She said the park is abiding by all capacity restrictions that are in place.
