Man suffering from trauma pronounced dead at local hospital.

Montgomery County Police say officers responded to the unit block of South Frederick Avenue just before 6:15 PM to investigate reports of a shooting. They found a man suffering from trauma. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim is identified as Darius Cooper, 25, of Dairymaid Drive in Germantown.
The incident occurred in front of an apartment building where a candlelight vigil was taking place.
