Frederick, Md (KM) Members of the Frederick Police Department’s High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force took down a suspected drug dealer on Monday. Calvin Jerome Hall, 36, was arrested after police served a search and seizure warrant at his home and a storage unit. He’s charged with:

Police officers also confiscated 17.22 pounds or 7815.3 grams of suspected marijuana, 190 THC cartridges, 6 jars of THC wax, 13.4 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl, 191.4 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 3.8 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 70.9 grams of suspected cocaine, 532 suspected Alprazolam pills, 1381.3 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, 95 suspected MDMA pills, Suboxone strips and $14,555 in US Currency.
The total street value of the seized items is $100,000, police say.
Authorities say this operation started when Detective Raymond Bednar obtained information that Hall was actively involved in illegal drug trafficking and distribution of different types of drugs, including cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, and marijuana in large quantities in Frederick County. Detective Bednar worked with the State’s Attorney’s Office to obtain search and seizure warrants on Hall’s home and a storage unit in Frederick.
This operation was a coordinated effort between the Frederick Police, the Sheriff’s Office, State’s Attorney’s Office, the Maryland State Police, Brunswick Police and the US Department of Homeland Security under the Maryland Criminal Intelligence Network.
The Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention funded this project. The GOCCP provides grant funding for operations to identify, disrupt, and dismantled criminal organizations.
