AAA Reminds Marylanders To Travel Safely During Upcoming Holiday Weekend

Frederick, MD (KB) The upcoming Fourth of July holiday is expected to be a record weekend for travel That’s according to AAA spokesperson, Jeanette Tejeda de Gomez.

“Marylanders are looking to find ways to travel to reconnect with their families and look for vacations that they had missed out from last year, it’s a term we’ve been calling ‘revenge travel,'” she explained.

She said popular destinations include; Orlando, Florida; Anaheim, California; and Denver, Colorado.

“Since we’re looking at a historical auto level in Maryland and in many states surrounding, we’re going to have to pack your patience because there are going to be a lot of travelers on the road with you,” she said. “So make sure that you mind the speed limits, watch out for others, and make sure that we can all get to our destinations safely, and return just as safely.”
