Testing was completed and determined asbestos is not present
Frederick, Md. – Last Thursday Frederick City Hall was closed and employees were sent home after crews making repairs from water damage became aware of materials potentially containing asbestos.
Over the weekend environmental testing took place and it was determined the materials did not contain asbestos.
City Hall will be open to employees and the general public on Monday.
